Hand Assembly / Wiring Technician (Full-Time) Location: Irwin, PA Pay: $17.00 per hour Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 10-hour shifts | No weekends! Employment Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary:
As a Hand Assembly / Wiring Technician, you'll learn to assemble electrical control panels and wire harnesses using standard tools and diagrams. Candidates who show reliability, attention to detail, and willingness to learn can quickly advance into skilled positions within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble electrical control panels using crimpers, wire strippers, and basic hand tools
Follow wiring diagrams and assembly drawings to complete builds
Cut, strip, and crimp wires accurately according to instructions
Read diagrams to ensure wires are placed in the correct locations
Assist in other departments as needed
Maintain clean, organized workstations and follow all safety procedures
Qualifications:
No experience required — will train the right candidate!
Must be able to master hand tools to cut, strip, and crimp wires correctly
Ability to read and follow diagrams and written instructions
Ability to perform basic physical tasks common to assembly work
Must pass a standard drug screen and background check
Schedule & Environment:
4-day, 10-hour work week (Monday–Thursday)
Two paid 10-minute breaks and one unpaid 30-minute lunch each day
