TradeWorX is hiring an experienced Well Control / BOP Rebuild Technician with direct Blowout Preventer teardown and rebuild experience. This role supports the disassembly, inspection, controls rework, and reassembly of high-pressure well control equipment in a manufacturing/shop environment.
This is not general mechanical assembly. Direct BOP and high-pressure oil & gas equipment experience is required.

$27.00–$33.00/hour (based on verified BOP rebuild experience)
1st Shift
Monday–Friday
Minimum 50 hours/week (10-hour shifts)
Key Responsibilities
Disassemble, inspect, and rebuild Blowout Preventer (BOP) systems
Redo and rebuild control systems on high-pressure safety valve equipment
Perform precision mechanical fit-up following torque specifications
Interpret assembly drawings and technical documentation
Support functional and pressure testing of well control equipment
Perform or support liquid penetrant inspection as required
Required Qualifications
4+ years of direct BOP teardown and rebuild experience
Experience with high-pressure well control or safety valve systems
Proven experience reworking or rebuilding BOP control systems
Strong understanding of torque specs and pressure-rated components
Liquid penetrant training or certification preferred
Able to pass background check and drug screening
