This position is based in a shop/manufacturing environment and offers full-time hours, with the opportunity for overtime once tenure is established.
Schedule:
Monday –Friday
8: 00 AM –4: 30 PM
40 hours per week, overtime possible
Wage:$17.00/hour

Job Description:
Perform general shop labor duties in a manufacturing environment
Use basic hand tools and assist with shop production processes
Perform regular lifting of up to 50 lbs and occasional lifting up to 75 lbs
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of work area and machines
Assist with routine machine care and basic maintenance
Work on your feet for the majority of the shift on a concrete shop floor
Perform tasks that may include climbing ladders, bending, and brief overhead work
Work safely around moving mechanical equipment in a moderate-noise environment
Other assigned shop or production duties as needed
Must Haves:
Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn
Familiarity with basic hand tools
Strong work ethic and attention to detail
Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday
Reliable transportation and good attendance
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment
PPE required: safety boots, gloves, etc.
Preferred (Not Required):
Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
