We're looking for a hardworking, hands-on Groundskeeper who takes pride in keeping commercial properties clean, safe, and well-maintained.
Position Summary:
The Groundskeeper supports the upkeep and appearance of commercial properties across the region. This is an active, outdoor role requiring attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork. The ideal candidate enjoys physical work, takes ownership of their duties, and contributes to maintaining safe, welcoming environments for tenants and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform daily grounds maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, mulching, and planting.
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, chainsaws, hand tools).
Inspect properties for cleanliness and safety;report any maintenance needs.
Perform light repairs and installations as directed by supervisors.
Maintain and troubleshoot irrigation systems.
Remove trash, debris, snow, and ice as needed.
Communicate professionally with tenants, contractors, and team members.
Respond promptly to work orders and participate in on-call rotations.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
No prior experience necessary —training provided!
Basic technology skills (smartphone, tablet, or computer).
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.
Comfortable working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 80 lbs., bend, kneel, and carry tools or materials throughout the workday.
Positive, dependable, and safety-minded team player.
Preferred but not required:
Experience with landscaping or facility maintenance.
Pesticide/herbicide certification.
Familiarity with property management systems (Prism, Building Engines, etc.).
