Job Description

Saw Operator (Industrial Laborer) –1st Shift

Location: New Kensington, PA
Schedule: 40 hours/week. Overtime available but not guaranteed.
Duration: 520-hour Temp-to-Hire

TradeWorX is hiring a Saw Operator to support metal production operations. Opportunity to grow into a machine apprenticeship role.

Pay & Overtime
  • $17.00–$24.00/hour based on experience
  • 40-hour work week
  • Overtime available based on workload

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up saw machines and install blades
  • Adjust cutting speeds for aluminum, carbon steel, and stainless
  • Hold cut tolerances of ±1/16”or better
  • Use tape measure and calipers for accuracy
  • Maintain production paperwork

Requirements
  • Blueprint reading including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing
  • Basic computer and calculator skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Steel-toe boots and safety glasses required

  • Drug screening required
