Job Overview
Participate in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repairs of electrical components, systems, facilities and related electronic controls of varying design or complexity. Responsible for overall assembly on new components per installation, maintenance and repair of equipment, tools and machinery as assigned by Projects or other supervisor as needed.

Participate in the construction, installation, modification, maintenance and repair of electrical components, systems, facilities and related electronic controls and devices
Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special purpose machines as assigned
Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective parts using hoists, hand tools and power tools
Must be able to interpret blueprints and follow manufacturers' specifications
Troubleshoot manufacturing machines
Follow written and verbal instructions
Work with AC and DC Circuits 120 thru 480 AC voltage and 240 DC voltage and to be able to operate a test stand plc control while testing components on a machine.
Assist in the establishment of preventive maintenance programs for electrical systems and facilities.
Extensive knowledge of Lock Out safety policies and procedures
Requirements
Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds
Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities which permits employee to communicate effectively
Lift tools, machinery parts
Endure intermittent bending, crouching, pushing, pulling and reaching
Ability to climb ladders
Qualifications
Must have proven knowledge of the principles of electricity and electrical design
Experience in the installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment and fixtures from blueprints, schematics and sketches or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
