Job Description:
Install, alter and repair sheet metal products and equipment ducts and hoods for HVAC systems utilizing blueprints, drawings and work orders.
Maintain and repair or replace components on various air conditioner units 'chillers, rooftop units, wet and dry side systems.
Will be working along other HVAC Installers troubleshooting and repairing A/C and ventilation systems.
Directly or indirectly support the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC, electrical, plumbing systems, and water distribution.
Perform minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
Respond to tenant/manager work requests using the work order management system.
Respond immediately to tenant concerns and on site emergencies.
Conduct property inspections and submit deficiencies and repair needs as well as general upkeep and improvement recommendations to the Maintenance Manager.
Must Haves:
Ability to work in confined spaces.
Able to read blueprints and schematics.
Understanding of advanced principles of air conditioning, refrigeration, and heating systems.
Knowledge and understanding of mechanical systems and necessary skills. Including brazing, and soldering.
Provide training, guidance, and mentorship to team members as well as new hires.
Valid driver's license with transportation.
Basic IT skills including Microsoft proficiency.
Ability to work within a team environment and perform work safely.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
