Job Summary
The HVAC Install Technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and testing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial and residential settings. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy hands-on work, problem-solving, and contributing to a high-performing team environment. Key Responsibilities
Install complete HVAC systems including ductwork, condensers, air handlers, furnaces, and ventilation components
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and installation manuals
Perform system start-ups and ensure installations meet performance specifications
Collaborate with electricians, plumbers, and general contractors on job sites
Ensure compliance with local mechanical codes and TradeWorX safety standards
Maintain and organize tools, materials, and documentation for each project
Provide excellent customer service and represent TradeWorX with professionalism
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of HVAC installation experience (commercial or residential)
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Strong understanding of HVAC systems, air distribution, and refrigeration principles
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Must have basic hand tools and appropriate HVAC tools
Capable of performing physical work such as lifting, bending, and working in various environments
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) —hard hat, gloves, boots, and safety glasses
Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work area
