TradeWorX Pittsburgh is seeking an HSE Field Specialist to support health, safety, and environmental initiatives across active construction and industrial job sites throughout the region. This is a field-based position responsible for conducting site audits, coaching employees on safe work practices, investigating incidents, supporting regulatory compliance, and promoting a strong safety culture. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and comfortable traveling extensively between job sites while serving as a visible safety resource for field operations.

Pay & Overtime
$34.00–$38.00 per hour
Overtime available based on project and operational needs
Schedule
Full-time (40 hours per week)
Regional travel between active job sites
Must be available to respond to incidents and emergencies as needed
Job Duties
Conduct field safety audits and inspections at active job sites
Identify hazards and verify corrective actions are completed
Complete HSE audit reports and communicate findings to management
Investigate incidents and perform root cause analysis
Support OSHA, DOT, and EPA compliance initiatives
Deliver toolbox talks, safety orientations, and field coaching
Develop and revise HSE policies and procedures
Respond to incidents and provide field-level HSE support
Assist with administrative and documentation tasks as needed
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Safety Science or related field
1–5 years of HSE experience in construction or gas industry preferred
Working knowledge of OSHA, DOT, EPA, and applicable HSE regulations
Experience conducting incident investigations and safety audits
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Valid driver's license with ability to travel extensively
OSHA 30 preferred or willingness to obtain
