Overview
TradeWorX is seeking experienced Dozer and Excavator Operators for a site development project in Wheeling, WV. This role is ideal for high-level hands who understand production earthwork, grade control, and running finish work to spec.
Key Responsibilities
Operate GPS dozers for cut/fill, rough and fine grading
Operate excavators for trenching, slope work, utility cuts, and mass excavation
Read and follow grade stakes, GPS screens, and site layouts
Assist with building roads, pads, and site infrastructure as needed
Perform daily inspections and basic preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
Work safely under contractor policies
Must Haves
3+ years'experience operating dozers and/or excavators in heavy civil/site development
Proven experience with GPS dozer systems (Trimble, Topcon, etc.) –required for dozer operators
Ability to work to line, grade, and slopes with minimal supervision
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
Reliable transportation and commitment to the project schedule
