Diesel Technician / Heavy Truck Mechanic –Career Opportunity | $25–$35/hr
Location: New Castle, PA
Pay: $25–$35/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, day shift (occasional overtime)
Temp-to-Hire →Full-Time after 600 hours

We're seeking a skilled Diesel Technician / Heavy Truck Mechanic for a long-term opportunity with one of our trusted partners in the heavy-duty trucking industry. After 600 hours worked through TradeWorx, you'll have the opportunity to transition into a full-time role directly with the employer.
What You'll Do
•Diagnose and repair heavy-duty trucks and diesel engines.
•Perform maintenance on brakes, suspension, hydraulics, and drivetrains.
•Use diagnostic software, schematics, and technical manuals to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
•Conduct DOT inspections and complete repair documentation accurately.
•Operate shop equipment, lifts, and forklifts safely.
•Collaborate with team members to minimize downtime and deliver quality service.
What You'll Bring
•2+ years of diesel mechanic, fleet, or heavy truck repair experience.
•Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and drivetrain repairs.
•Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a physically active environment.
•Familiarity with diagnostic tools and repair documentation.
•Must supply your own tools (PPE provided).
•Valid driver's license;CDL or inspection license preferred.
