Work Type Commercial electrical construction: new builds, remodels, tenant fit-outs, and system upgrades.
Daily Responsibilities
Electricians in this role will perform tasks including:
Install commercial electrical systems per NEC requirements
Layout, rough-in, and routing of electrical circuits
Pulling feeders and branch circuits;setting and securing cable pathways
Installing and terminating receptacles, lighting fixtures, panels, and devices
Mounting supports, brackets, hangers, and strut for lighting and conduit
Terminating circuits, distribution equipment, and service components
Testing continuity, identifying faults, and troubleshooting electrical issues
Working efficiently alongside a commercial electrical crew
This position requires strong installation accuracy and the ability to work safely and independently.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of commercial electrical experience
Strong ability to perform rough-ins, device installation, terminations, and conduit work
Proficiency in installing and wiring commercial panels and circuits
Capable of performing physical tasks associated with the electrical trade
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to maintain a clean, safe, OSHA-compliant work environment
Must have general electrical hand tools and PPE (hard hat, boots, gloves, etc.)
Preferred Skills (Highly Valued)
Experience reading electrical blueprints, one-line diagrams, or schematics
Familiarity with 277/480V lighting and power distribution systems
Ability to terminate panels, switchgear, transformers, disconnects
Lift or scaffold experience (boom lift, scissor lift certified preferred)
Experience installing fire alarm, low-voltage, or control circuits
