Work with the best. TradeWorXJob Description –Carpenter / Fire Caulking Technician
Fire Caulking / Firestop Installation –Install fire-rated sealants, intumescent materials, and approved firestop systems for penetrations, joints, walls, and floors according to specifications.
General Caulking & Sealant Work –Apply caulking for interior/exterior joints, windows, doors, control joints, and weatherproofing tasks.
Frame Construction –Build, assemble, and install wood and metal framing for residential and commercial structures.
Remodeling Work –Perform demolition, repair, and reconstruction tasks including walls, ceilings, floors, windows, and doors.
Finish Work (as needed) –Basic trim installation, patching, blocking, and general carpentry support.
Blueprint & Measurement Reading –Accurately read and interpret plans, drawings, and measurements to ensure proper installation of firestop and carpentry systems.
Tool & Equipment Operation –Safely use hand tools, caulking guns, power tools, and construction equipment.
Site Safety & Cleanliness –Follow all safety guidelines, maintain a clean jobsite, and work collaboratively with other trades and crew members.
Must Haves:
Experience with fire caulking, general caulking, weatherproofing, OR commercial/residential carpentry
Able to read blueprints and schematics (preferred)
Able to work effectively with other trades on the jobsite
General hand tools for carpentry and/or caulking
Ability to cut, measure, and accurately install materials and sealants
Valid driver's license with dependable transportation
