TradeWorX is hiring a CDL Concrete Mixer Truck Driver for one of our local concrete partners in the Ebensburg, PA area.

Position Type, Pay & Benefits
Full-time local driving role
Starting up to $27 per hour, based on experience and qualifications
Scheduled wage scale increases available
Weekly pay
Overtime after 40 hours in a week
1.5x pay for hours worked over 40 and for the 6th consecutive workday
2x pay for hours worked on the 7th consecutive workday
4-hour minimum call-in pay at 1.5x when called in outside of a regular scheduled shift
$1.00/hour shift differential for qualifying overnight start times

Responsibilities
Safely operate a concrete mixer truck to deliver ready-mix concrete to construction jobsites
Follow dispatch schedules and complete timely, accurate deliveries
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT requirements
Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of the mixer truck
Communicate professionally with dispatch, plant personnel, customers, and jobsite contacts
Monitor slump, consistency, and quality of concrete upon delivery
Assist with chute handling and concrete placement as needed
Complete required paperwork, including delivery tickets, logs, and related documentation
Follow all traffic laws, DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures
Report mechanical issues, equipment concerns, or safety issues immediately
Keep assigned truck clean on the interior and exterior
Assist with plant-related tasks as needed, including batching or mixing support when required
Requirements
Valid CDL Class A or B preferred
Clean driving record
Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
Prior ready-mix concrete truck driving experience preferred, but not required
Strong commitment to safe driving and jobsite safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Strong communication skills and professional customer interaction
Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and equipment care preferred
Flexibility to work early mornings, extended hours, occasional Saturdays, overtime, or changing schedules based on project needs
Dependable attendance and willingness to work in a schedule-driven delivery environment
Physical Requirements
Ability to climb ladders and access elevated areas of the truck
Ability to lift and maneuver chutes weighing 50+ lbs
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the day
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Ability to safely perform duties around active jobsites, equipment, and concrete operations
