TradeWorX is seeking an experienced Assistant Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee daily maintenance operations and ensure the safe, efficient performance of our facility in Mt. Pleasant.
This role is responsible for leading a team of technicians, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and maintaining equipment, systems, and building infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on technical experience, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.

Pay
- $25.00 per hour
- Monday-Friday 7: 00 –3: 30
Scope of Work
Assistant Lead Maintenance Technician
- Develop and implement SOP's for maintenance staff, Security, Cleaning, and Contractors.
- Inspected Business Parks, Buildings, landscaping, Cleaning, and Equipment to proactively identify and resolve issues.
- Maximize reliability of critical systems (fire systems, electrical, HVAC and water and backflow.)
- Schedule and manage repairs and installations.
- Allocate work orders and supervise staff (janitorial, Security, Maintenance etc.)
- Monitor inventory and purchase supplies.
- Manage budget for maintenance department.
- Build relationships with contractors and tenants.
- Maintain maintenance logs on daily activities.
- Ensure health and safety policies are complied with
- Train and supervise employees of the maintenance department
- Manage outside vendors to ensure they are following RIDC standards.
- Ensure operational efficiency of electrical equipment and mechanical systems.
- Ensure premises and facilities are kept clean and safe manor
- Implement workplace safety policies and standards.
- Keep track of and report on activity.
- Maintain all equipment (JLG, Scissor Lift, Tools etc.)
- Schedule preventative maintenance (PMs) (Fire System, HVAC etc.)
- Perform maintenance repairs including but not limited to HVAC, electrical, plumbing.
- Communicate effectively with RIDC, cleaning staff, maintenance techs and contractors
