TradeWorX is a full-time construction employer. We are now hiring for experienced pipefitters in Pittsburgh PA and surrounding areas. Position will be working in a manufacturing facility will require qualified applicants to work 40 hours a week and potential overtime opportunities.

Pipefitter Experience

• Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and schematics.
• Experience reading measurements to plan layout and procedures associated with work order.
• Ability to thread, cut and hammer pipe to job specifications, using hand tools of trade.
• Basic math skills.
• Welding Certificates

Pipefitter Responsibilities:

• Reviewing the blueprints of various mechanical systems
• Constructing and joining structural components by assembling and securing pipe, tubes, fittings etc. Ideal pipefitter candidates will have some experience welding, soldering, brazing and threading joints. As well as marking and measuring pipes accurately.
• Examining and measuring components to ensure that they are of the correct size and quality.
• Using welding equipment and hand tools like ball-peen hammer, hack saw, and steel ruler while constructing structural components
• Performing regular maintenance checks as needed
• Identifying system malfunctions and rectifying the same system.
• Placing replacement orders for defective or broken parts
• Rebuilding various types of pumps as needed.

Wage is up to $29.00/hour, based upon experience and interview. Our employees are highly compensated for schooling, experience, credentials and tenure.

Must Haves:

• Previous pipefitting and industry experience.
• Able to perform general physical activities common to pipefitting trade.
• Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
• Personal Protection Equipment (PPE ) - hard hat, gloves, boots, eye protection
