Job Description:
The Packaging Technician is responsible for performing cleaning, painting, packaging and labeling operations within a job shop manufacturing environment. This role involves efficiently and accurately cleaning, painting, and packaging finished products according to customer and internal specifications and ensuring that all packaging materials are handled safely. The Packaging Technician plays a crucial role in the final stage of the manufacturing process by ensuring that products are properly cleaned, painted packaged, protected, and ready for shipment.
Qualifications and Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications or vocational training in packaging or related field is a plus.
Proven experience as a Packaging Technician or in a similar packaging role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in a job shop setting.
Knowledge of packaging techniques, materials, and equipment.
Ability to read and interpret packaging specifications, work instructions, and customer requirements.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
Good physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects as required.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Must have reliable transportation
