Our client is seeking a Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our team in the Indianapolis area. This role is responsible for take-offs, pricing, and preparing final estimates and budgets for various commercial HVAC projects, including design-build and construction documents.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare estimates for HVAC installations in commercial projects
Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and proposals
Perform detailed take-offs for equipment and materials
Communicate with vendors, suppliers, and project teams
Ensure estimates are accurate and submitted on time Qualifications: Strong understanding of HVAC systems, blueprints, and specifications
Experience estimating packaged rooftop units, split systems, piping, and ductwork
Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaborate with project teams
Valid driver's license with a clean record Preferred: Bachelor's in Construction Management (preferred, not required)
Field experience with HVAC installations is a plus Work Environment & Physical Demands:
Construction sites and customer locations
Ability to lift 50-100 lbs, climb ladders, and work at heights
Exposure to various weather conditions with proper PPE
